I don’t think of these pages as a portfolio.

They don’t describe the projects I’m most proud of, nor do they try to represent everything I’ve done.

I collected them because each of them taught me something.

They are moments when a project changed the way I observed a system, organized information, or approached a problem.

People change.

Contexts change.

Technologies change.

The ideas that remain change much less.

These stories come from experiences in research, public administration, industry, the non-profit sector and, more recently, from observing digital products and services.

They aren’t arranged chronologically.

Instead, they follow the path through which my way of designing has evolved over the years.

Each story describes an experience.

Together, they describe a way of thinking.

01

Relationships

Information becomes valuable when it starts connecting.

The first time I realized that an information system is not an archive, but a network of relationships.

02

Context

Context gives meaning to data.

Information only becomes truly valuable when we know where it comes from and how much we can trust it.

Every piece of information needs a home.

The discovery that organizing data always comes before automating it.

04

Adaptability

Designing for what we don’t know yet.

05

Connections

Building bridges.

Innovation often emerges from connecting tools that already exist.

QR codes · Mapbox · APIs · CSV · Integration projects

06

Observation

Observation is already a form of design.

Many solutions begin long before the code. They begin by paying attention.

Quality Evaluation, Fitbit, and other system analysis projects.

07

Ownership

Understanding a problem also means knowing who can solve it.

Following a Bluetooth issue until it stopped being my problem and became the system's responsibility.
